As of June 11, 2021 we will be returning to our regular hours, Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm.  We will operate under the Ontario Step 1 Re-Opening guidelines and encourage clients to use email (sales@shoprbc.com) or shopRBC.com to order products and choose delivery options whenever possible.

We are shipping quickly at this time but unfortunately due to supply constraints, many items are unavailable.  We suggest placing backorders and being patient.

Some notes regarding our re-opening:

  1. We will be implementing enhanced cleaning measures for our clients and staff.
  2. We are screening employees with Rapid Testing twice a week to proactively identify any asymptomatic cases.
  3. Sanitizing gel is available at the entrance, we ask that you sanitize your hands once you arrive.
  4. We require that clients wear a facial covering before entering our premises.
  5. We have added protective screens across our service counter area.
  6. We will only allow 1 client into the office at a time.  If at all possible, please visit our office solo.  Please provide physical distance with others.
  7. We encourage you to use Local Ottawa Shipping if possible to avoid shop traffic, but we will allow clients to pick-up orders starting June 11, 2021.
  8. We will not work on any client machines while they wait.  Repairs must be dropped off and picked up at a later time.

As of April 8, 2021 our offices will be closed to the public due to the Covid-19 lockdowns put in place in Ontario.  While our offices are closed, we are filling corporate and online orders at a normal level.  We are working with individual clients on a case-by-case to help with all support issues.  If you have any orders, repairs, new builds waiting for pickup, please emails us at sales@shoprbc.com or call us at 613-829-9994 to make arrangements for curb-side pickup.

Are you allowing customer pick-up orders?

We are currently NOT accepting any pick-up orders on shopRBC.com due to our office closure.  You can order on shopRBC.com and choose Local Ottawa Delivery at $5.95 to have your order delivered quickly.

Are you shipping orders?

As of today, we are shipping all orders with no delays.  Orders will ship in 1-2 days.  This may change quickly if we are forced to close or if delivery partners temporarily suspend service and/or limit capacity.

We continue to operate under guidelines set forth by Ottawa Public Health.  Below are a few quick updates:

  • We continue to require masks to be worn when visiting our office and limiting the amount of people in the waiting area at one time.  Please do not visit our office under any circumstance if you are experiencing any symptom of Covid-19.
  • There are many items that are backorders or difficult to procure at the moment.  There are also some high-demand product launches that are making things extremely difficult for us to supply clients.   Please try to email whenever possible to inquire about orders, product availability, etc.
  • Couriers both inbound and outbound are beginning to experience delays due to high volume.  Please do not order from us and get upset with delays.  We’re all doing our best but be assured from now until at least after Christmas, there will be delays with couriers.

Effective July 6, 2020 we will be returning to our regular hours, Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm.  We will continue to operate with the guidelines set below and encourage clients to use email (sales@shoprbc.com) or shopRBC.com to order products and choose delivery options.

Canada Post appears to be catching up on deliveries across Canada and locally we are seeing no delays.  We are filling all orders within 1-2 business days.

We have been working hard on preparing the office to re-open to the public.  At this time we will be re-opening on Monday June 1st at 12:00pm.   We will be working limited hours (12pm to 4pm) while we trial this re-opening and will extend our hours as time progresses.

Some notes regarding our re-opening:

  1. We will be implementing enhanced cleaning measures for our clients and staff.
  2. We will be making sanitizing gel available at the entrance, we ask that you sanitize your hands once you arrive.
  3. We encourage that clients wear a facial covering before entering our premises.  This is not required, but we would appreciate it.  We will be asking that all staff wear facial coverings.
  4. We have added protective screens across our service counter area.
  5. We will only allow 2 clients into the office at one time.  Please provide physical distance with others.
  6. We encourage you to use Local Ottawa Shipping if possible to avoid shop traffic, but we will allow clients to pick-up orders starting June 1st.
  7. We will not work on any client machines while they wait.  Repairs must be dropped off and picked up at a later time.
  8. We will not be accepting cash payments at this time, sorry.  Interac, Visa, Mastercard are gladly accepted.

  4. We are continuing to prepare to re-open our offices.  We will be implementing measures for clients and employees and will post information shortly before an official re-opening date is announced.

  2. We are not taking calls at this time, please continue to email us sales@shoprbc.com for quick responses.
  3. We will not be running any promos effective Friday May 8th so we can limit sales and allow our team to rest up and enjoy Mother’s Day weekend with their families.
  4. As restrictions in Ontario begin to lift, we are finalizing plans to re-open our offices to the public shortly.  Stay tuned.

Latest info (April 23, 2020)

Our offices continued to be closed at this time, but we are shipping shoprbc.com and corporate client orders.

A couple of quick notes:

  1. As we continue to receive above average order volume and operate with minimal staff ,  we have been filling orders generally 2-3 days behind schedule.  Also, it appears Purolator, UPS and Canada Post are now also dealing with increased volumes and delivery delays.  We do apologize for the delays, but I can assure you we are all doing our best in this.
  2. Our phone server appears to have experienced an outage on April 22 and we are working on restoring service.  We are not answering phone calls regardless, please email all questions to sales@shoprbc.com.
  3.  Per point 1, please try to be understanding with delays.  Emailing us multiple times a day to discuss issues in tracking, etc really hamper our ability to fill orders as quickly as possible.  If you received a tracking number, rest assured your order has been processed and will be delivered as quickly as possible.
  4. In order to accommodate current orders as quickly as possible, we did not run a sale the week of April 20th hence why the shoprbc.com main page looks a bit empty and out of sorts.  We’ll get something up and running early next week, promise!
